Local Events.
Mid Wales plays hosts to a range of major events throughout the year that provide entertainment for visitors and locals alike.
The biggest of these is the Royal Welsh Show, held each July, which features an eclectic mix of agricultural shows and family entertainment (don't miss the dancing diggers!).
The most fun event may well be the Victorian festival in Llandrindod Wells (August), which sees the whole town dressing up and partying like it's 1899. Oh yeah!
Other events include the International Antiques and Collectors Fair of Wales (May); the Welsh Two Day Enduro Trials (June); the Heart of Wales Walking Festival (September); and the unmissable Winter Fair (November).
These are however just the tip of the iceberg and whatever time of year you visit us there's a good chance something interesting will be taking place locally. In particular the Royal Welsh Showground holds dozens of events throughout the year.
